Daniel Ricciardo took advantage of mechanical issues for Mercedes drivers Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg to win the Canadian Grand Prix, the first GP win of his young career. Rosberg took second place ahead of Sebastian Vettel, while Hamilton was forced to retire from the race with problems in his rear brakes, a disastrous result for his world title hopes.
