Vegas Will Return Next Season as the Izod IndyCar Series Finale

According to www.indycar.com, the Izod IndyCar Series will return to Las Vegas next year to close out the season.The race will be run on Oct. 14, 2012.I think this is a good thing for the series to end in Vegas.  They need high speed close racing ovals like this and returning to Vegas will be good for the series.The rest of the schedule is still being finalized, but they did announce the 2012 season will start on March 25 in St. Petersburg, Florida.It was also announced today that Michael Shank will field a full-time team next season in the Izod IndyCar Series.  No driver or sponsor was announced, but he said they definitely will run a full season.Read more Motorsports news on BleacherReport.com...
