Should NASCAR Continue to Place Emphasis on Winning in the Chase?

Win and you're in. That phrase has been used in conjunction with the new Chase for the Sprint Cup format so much that it is practically etched in stone.  So far this season, it seems to have worked. No matter how poorly a driver has fared in 2014 (Kurt Busch, Aric Almirola, AJ Allmendinger, Kasey Kahne), a win guaranteed a better position in points at season's end.
