Ricky Taylor Takes DP Pole, Jonathan Bomarito In GT At Daytona

Ricky Taylor took the pole in qualifying Friday for the Brumos Porsche 250 at Daytona International Speedway on Saturday. Taylor scored the pole in the Daytona Prototype class in the Suntrust No. 10 Ford Dallara. Taylor and teammate Max Angelelli have been on a roll lately and won at Lime Rock on Memorial Day. The Gainsco teammates of Alex Gurney and Jon Fogarty line up second in the Chevrolet Riley. The Telmex 01 of Scott Pruett and Memo Rojas qualified in fifth after coming off back-to-back wins at Mid Ohio and Watkins Glen. They are the points leaders.
