NHRA Thunder Valley Nationals Friday Qualifying Results from Bristol

The NHRA Full Throttle Drag Racing Series is in Thunder Valley at Bristol Dragway in Bristol, TN for the E3 Spark Plugs Thunder Valley Nationals. Qualifying got underway on Friday with two sessions completed for Top Fuel, Funny Car, and Pro Stock. Antron Brown was quickest in Top Fuel Friday running a 3.856 at 314.24 mph in his Matco Tools Dragster, followed by Cory McClenathan who was second at a 3.879 at 313.51 mph. Larry Dixon, last week's winner at Englishtown, was third, followed by Brandon Bernstein and Bob Vandergriff. Ashley Force Hood in the Castrol Ford Mustang Funny Car went to the top of the charts in Funny Car at Bristol Friday.
