NHRA E3 Spark Plugs Thunder Valley Nationals Results from Bristol

Tony Schumacher took the US Army Top Fuel Dragster to victory on Fathers Day Sunday at Bristol Dragway. Schumacher defeated Brandon Bernstein in the final round to win the E3 Spark Plugs Thunder Valley Nationals. Schumacher ran a 3.982 at 306.53 mph to a losing 4.054 at 272.56 mph by Bernstein in the Copart Dragster. Larry Dixon, last week's winner at Englishtown, went out early but still remains the point leader going into Norwalk. John Force defeated Tim Wilkerson in the final round in Funny Car and took the Castrol GTX Ford Mustang to a win after Wilkerson went up in smoke.
