NHRA E3 Spark Plugs Thunder Valley Nationals Qualifying Results Saturday

The NHRA Full Throttle Drag Racing Series is in Thunder Valley at Bristol Dragway in Tennessee. Qualifying started Friday with Antron Brown and Ashley Force Hood atop the Top Fuel and Funny Car fields, respectively, with Mike Edwards in Pro Stock. Saturday qualifying didn't see much change, but Allen Johnson took his Mopar to the top of charts ahead of Mike Edwards in Pro Stock Qualifying. Antron Brown comes into Bristol with another No. 1 qualifier in his Matco Tools Dragster after finishing runner up to Larry Dixon at Englishtown last weekend. Brown at a 3.856 at 314.24 mph remained atop the charts with Cory Mac in second and point leader Larry Dixon in third.
