NASCAR isn’t known for its liberal fans. There may be no more right wing sport in all of the United States. That’s why it should have come as no surprise to anyone who decided to think Sunday that the first lady of the United States Michelle Obama and vice president Joe Biden’s wife Jill would be booed. The closest thing to a liberal you will get at a NASCAR event is a Jeff Gordon fan, and even they were booing the president’s wife. Don’t get me wrong, I understand that she was there as a good-will ambassador.
