John Hunter Nemechek won the Camping World Truck Series' American Ethanol E15 225 at Chicagoland Speedway, Illinois, on Saturday. He benefited from fuel issues that impacted a large percentage of the field to pick up his first career victory.
The final caution of the day came just outside of the projected fuel window. Since there weren't any more laps under yellow to preserve fuel, teams had to either come down pit road for more or take a chance on making it. It led to a highly chaotic, entertaining finish.
