NASCAR at Talladega 2016: Live Results and Analysis from the Hellman’s 500

Joey Logano overcame an early miscue on pit road to capture the checkered flag in Sunday afternoon's Hellman's 500 at Talladega Superspeedway and advance to the round of eight in the Chase for the Sprint Cup. Logano almost fell out of contention early in the race when he dragged the jack out of his pit box with him and had to ride around the track with it still under the car. He recovered and led 45 laps for his second consecutive fall victory in Alabama. Austin Dillon, Martin Truex Jr., Chase Elliott and Brad Keselowski were eliminated from Chase contention.
