Lotus Awarded FIA Entry for 2010

With the uncertainty surrounding BMW's buyout after the 2009 season, the FIA have granted Lotus an entry spot for 2010 leaving BMW as the 14th team should any vacancies open up. Additionally, the FIA has expressed leniency towards a 14 team grid should the FOTA agree on the matter.  I for one am thrilled to see Lotus back in the sport and am looking forward to seeing what they will be capable of in 2010. This of course adds another dimension to the Driver lineup which F1 fans are eagerly awaiting as the 2009 season progresses further and further passed the traditional point in which new driver lineups are published.     Read more Motorsports news on BleacherReport.com...
