Jimmie Johnson Sweeps at the Monster Mile, Wins Second Chase Race

  It’s called “Bristol on Steroids” and has a concrete monster as its logo. Dover International Speedway in Dover, DE is a one-of-a-kind track that has been intimidating drivers since its inception, it can reach out and snatch up a car at any moment. The Monster Mile played host to the second race of the 2009 Chase for the Championship on Sunday with 400 laps of trying to conquer the concrete mile. Weather though, was expected to have the upper hand as rain moved in overnight and much of the morning, but was expected to clear by race time.
