Jeremy Mayfield was suspended by NASCAR in 2009 for failing a drug test. That turned out to be only the beginning of his problems.Following his suspension, Mayfield unsuccessfully sued NASCAR, was divorced by his wife and was arrested for possession of stolen property and methamphetamines. But according to an article by Bob Pockrass of Sporting News, Mayfield recently experienced a turn of good fortune.
