Is JR Motorsports Securing Almirola’s Future?

Rumors abound that Aric Almirola just signed a multi-year contract to drive the No. 88 NASCAR Nationwide car for JR Motorsports. Though reports cannot be verified by JR Motorsports or through the driver, the rumor has been reported on several credible media outlets. Almirola has been the driver dujour for backup during babywatch for Jimmie Johnson and Jeff Gordon at Hendrick Motorsports. It appears Hendrick has a great deal of faith in the talent and potential of Almirola to put him in his equipment.  Almirola seemed to take to the cars well in practice sessions.
