Hendrick Motorsports Driver Shake-Up May Be Predictor of Shocking Season

After more than a year of anticipation, it was thought that Kasey Kahne would be the golden driver for Hendrick Motorsports this season. Now it is Dale Earnhardt Jr. who is the top dog at HMS with only one teammate within striking distance. Earnhardt sits second in the standings, six points out, and Jimmie Johnson has come from negative points at Daytona to the 10th place ranking, 37 points behind the leader, Greg Biffle. Kahne has been plagued with problem after problem, race after race and languishes in the 31st position in the standings with two finishes in the top 20, but out of the top 10.
