Geico 400: Dale Earnhardt, Tony Stewart Bolt from the Blocks in Race for Chase

Tony Stewart and Dale Earnhardt Jr stormed out of the Sprint Chase for the Cup gates after barely making the field.Stewart took the checkered and Earnhardt took third. It was an important strong start for two drivers that claimed the last non-wild card spots for the chase.The victory snapped a 32 race winless streak for Stewart and it couldn't have come at a better time. By qualifying in the ninth spot for the Chase, Stewart began the day 12-points back of leaders Kyle Busch and Kevin Harvick.He is now second in the standings and just seven points back of Kevin Harvick.
