Formula One: Robert Kubica Injured in Rally, Serious Doubt for Season Opener

Robert Kubica has sustained injuries whilst taking part in the Ronde di Andorra rally, leaving his Formula One future in doubt. The Pole has been diagnosed with multiple fractures to his right arm, leg and hand after a high speed crash in his Skoda Fabia. His co-driver was unhurt in the incident. It is believed he hit a church wall at high speed and was then air lifted to a hospital near Genoa. It is now unlikely that Kubica will be ready to race in the first Formula One race of the season in Bahrain in March.
