Daytona 500 Start Time: Rain Forces NASCAR to Run Under the Lights

After two rain delays, the Daytona 500 is now scheduled to start at 7:00 p.m. EDT on Monday night, according to Dan Wetzel of Yahoo Sports.  Daytona 500 now scheduled for 7pm on Fox— Dan Wetzel (@DanWetzel) February 27, 2012 It will be seen in its entirety on FOX. The schedule change could work out better for NASCAR, since its biggest race will be in primetime.
