Daytona 500: Dale Earnhardt Jr. Looks To Keep Daytona Magic Alive In The 500

Dale Earnhardt Jr. has had some strong runs in past Daytona 500's, and he looks to keep that string alive in today's running of the Great American Race. Earnhardt Jr. is a past winner of this race, having done so in 2004. In 11 career starts in this race, Earnhardt  has posted six top 10 finishes, which also include last years runner up finish. He also has a knack for finding his way to the front of the field. He has led laps in all but three of his Daytona 500 starts. This year, Earnhardt has qualified for the pole position.
