2015 NASCAR Sprint Cup Schedule: Big Hype and Few Changes Disappoints Fans

I don’t know about you, but I was certainly let down by all the hype around this week’s announcement by NASCAR of its 2015 NASCAR Sprint Cup schedule. I’m still trying to figure out what all the excitement was about. I mean, NASCAR sure made it sound like there might be some big news (read: big changes) coming when the schedule was announced. The communications and messaging gurus at NASCAR’s Integrated Marketing Communications group had both their current broadcast partner, Fox Sports 1, and future partner, NBC Sports, make almost simultaneous announcements during the same time period Tuesday afternoon.
