2011 Indianapolis 500: Donald Trump Out of Pace Car

Controversy has surrounded the selection of Donald Trump as the driver of the Chevrolet Camaro pace car for the 100th anniversary of the Indianapolis 500, but now it is a non-issue. Trump announced today that he would not be driving the pace car because of conflicts with his possible presidential campaign. In an article published on Indystar.com, Trump stated, "I very much appreciate the honor, but time and business constraints make my appearance there, especially with the necessary practice sessions, impossible to fulfill."
