Creature vs. Creature Writers Pool: Results After the Pepsi 500

  After 500 miles at the Auto Club Speedway in Fontana, CA the results and point standings looked just as many predicted. Jimmie Johnson dominated at his home track to win for the fourth time at the speedway and earned his fifth win of the year. It also catapulted him to the point lead over teammate Mark Martin with six races to go. As for our Creatures, most of them had top 10 days and the championship picture has taken a big twist. Three Creatures have separated themselves from the rest and with six races to go it seems they’ll need a lot of help to get back into contention.
