Route 66 Nationals NHRA Qualifying Results Friday

The United Association Route 66 NHRA Nationals are in Chicago this weekend, and Friday was a long day of qualifying as Larry Dixon was atop the charts in Top Fuel. Dixon ran a 3.81 at 317.42 mph to put the Al Anabi Racing Dragster on the top of the chart for Friday qualifying. Robert Hight continues to be the dominant driver in Funny Car as he led the session Friday with a 4.06 at 313.15 mph in his AAA Auto Club Ford Mustang. Hight, with Jimmy Prock and John Force Racing, are the defending champions and if they keep this streak alive they could be again.
