Ryan Truex Gets an Early Birthday Present of Six Nationwide Races

Ryan Truex turns 18 on Thursday, but he received his present from Michael Waltrip Racing a day early and he's ecstatic over it. MWR announced earlier today that Truex will be running six Nationwide races in 2010 and they won't conflict with the K&N Filters Pro Series East schedule. Truex will be running the full 10 race schedule, defending his 2009 title, trying to go back-to-back. "I'm a racer and the best present anyone can give me is a chance to race," said Truex. The team is still looking for sponsorship help for these six races and also for him in 2011 when he'll compete full-time in the series.
