Johnny Sauter’s Heading To Daytona an Early Championship Favorite

ThorSport Racing's Johnny Sauter ended the 2009 season on a tear, collecting a win at Vegas, five top fives and eight top-10 finishes over the final 10 races of the 2009 season. It's made him an early championship favorite for the 2010 season, along with his teammate Matt Crafton, and like his chances with crew chief Joe Shear Jr. on the pit wagon calling the shots. Sauter will be looking for some vindication at Daytona since last year he led three laps before he was wrecked in the big one that was not of his making. He has run races at Daytona in all three of NASCAR's top divisions and his best finish was second in the 2004 Nationwide race.
