NASCAR: Track Changes at Bristol Won’t Increase Attendance Alone

NASCAR fans are getting their way.  Recently, it was announced that track changes will take place at Bristol Motor Speedway. This came as the result of a survey in which 75 percent of the fans wanted to see a change to the track.  However, will this really increase attendance?The track itself was not the problem; the amount of money it costs to get to the speedway is.Bristol needed to be changed.  This year's race was one of the worst Bristol races that NASCAR has had in a while.  Fixing the track is a separate issue from the cost of attending the race, though.  Those of us who will watch the night race at home will hopefully be in for a much better race than the previous one this year.But what about those fans who ...
